READ: COSMIC FORCES OF INFLUENCE
As the expression from the ancient Emerald Tablet goes, “as above so below," we understand everything that unfolds on earth is a reflection of the greater forces of the astral planes. The microcosms reflects the macrocosm and vice versa. Everything in the macrocosmic planetary plane expresses itself within the microcosm of our physical plane—the human body.
The forces of these huge astrological planets emit vibrations that influence us on the quantum level. Learning about how they impact our lives allows us to work with them so they serve us and use their guidance to move through life with less resistance. As one of our favorite astrologers Patti Clark says, “Work the transits or the transits work you.”
Though there are many astrological methodologies to learn from, we're focusing on the days of the week and the planetary aspects they each harness. Below, you will find the qualities and activities best to focus on each day. Mixing this methodology with self-sovereignty is the perfect elixir to feel like you’re living with more flow and less resistance—inner + outer rhythm.
Various ancient lineages have long associated each day of the week with one of the seven “Creative Planets”: the luminaries—Sun and Moon—plus Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The qualities of each of these days prime them for certain activities and energies. Leaning into their mystical forces can invite us into an intelligent rhythm of inspiration, rather than arbitrarily scheduling something on our calendars.
Maybe it’s a big presentation, a date, an interview, building a business plan, doing something creative—whatever we’ve got going on, harnessing the powers of these giant cosmic forces invites inspiration, motivation and extra-ordinary assistance in moments where we need the weight of the universe to back us up.
MONDAY: The Power of the Moon
The energy is creative, generative, reflective, imaginative. This is a great day to ideate, daydream— to sit and craft a powerful vision. It’s also spiritual, a time to receive downloads, and nourish deeply with food and inner wisdom.
TUESDAY: The Power of Mars
Assertion, decisiveness, a passionate hunger—Mars brings the heat. It champions divine masculinity that makes things tangible and brings things to the surface. Tap into your libido, sign up for high-intensity workouts, lean into kinetic energy, and explore the sensual world. This could be a good day to close business deals or make a final decision. Our intuition should be clear on this day of courage.
WEDNESDAY: The Power of Mercury
The energy is auspicious for work and communication; its superpower is understanding and its weapon of choice is the spoken and written word. This is a great day to write emails, plan meetings, speak your truth, and give presentations.
THURSDAY: The Power of Jupiter
Jupiter is expansive, wise, and liberated. Its energy brings us closer to our third-eye sense of knowing, and also connected with prosperity and luck. Schedule interviews, first dates—anything you feel where you’re taking a big leap and risk—and abundance will be there to catch you.
FRIDAY: The Power of Venus
The energy is potent, beautiful, lustful. Luxuriate in romance, sensuality, dancing, carve space for a full body massage, or get in a cold shower. Bring out the oils and reconnect to yourself. It’s about attraction on the visceral, material plane and recognizing beauty in all of creation’s manifestation. Eat well, enjoy sex, revel in beauty and art.
SATURDAY: The Power of Saturn
Saturn is renowned for structure and discipline. “The power of Saturn is manifested as the crystallization on the material level”—this is a day to take action, persevere, and keep consistent with accomplishing your dreams. Build out a business plan, set a budget, write your action steps, and foster self-initiation.
SUNDAY: The Power of the Sun
Solar energy is an illuminating, energizing, and activating substance in the sky. It’s eclectic and confident—make it a day for adventure or social gatherings.

“I personally use the app Cosmic Insights to show what the planetary hour is at any given time, as planetary hours are calculated by location… About a month ago, I planned a job interview around the hour of Jupiter (my local time) and it went so well I was called in for a 2nd interview. While I chose not to take the position as it wasn't a good fit, it was kind of cool to experiment with shifting the time and seeing the result.” - Siobhan E., Project Manager
